Description
The Pennsylvania State Quarter depicts the outline of state boarder, the famous Pennsylvania Keystone, and the Commonwealth Statue. The capture next to the Commonwealth Statue reads "Virtue, Independence, Liberty" -- the principles the Commonwealth Statue is intended to represent.
The Commonwealth Statue resembles Lady Liberty. On the quarter, the statue is depicted wearing a robe and holding a staff with an eagle and ribbon on top in her left hand.
